I want to point out that i’m not interested to play the fastest guitar on these planet-Shawn Lane R.i.P.
i grew up with players like Paul Gilbert,Yngwie,John Petrucci,Al di Meola
Thanks to all of them for there musical
inspiration.
(I know some of you won’t even call this music just exercises but for me it’s not.
While I’m playing guitar it’s like a rush.Everything just comes naturally.
so relax and get to a new level of expression.

Music is always about joy and passion

Melodic chapter 1:
One of my melodic moments..
Totally improvised…

Interlude: Riff from Rainbow
Since you’ve been gone
(Richie Blackmore was one of my first
guitar heroes when i was 9 years old..

Chapter 2:
Jamming on an Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar
so i play in the style of????

Well i’m really into playing legato.
I always loved that sound and there is no end for learning

Melodic chapter 3.
Just some nice melodic playing
Here are 3 different melodies.

The second part is in the original much long.Here i use a smooth guitar sound from the vg 88 from Roland

The last solo was a first take so it’s pretty dirty but i decided to leave the mistakes.
in fact i don’t care about it.I just want to play..

Chapter 4.
Just some crazy runs.
So much fun….
First some more melodic stuff
then more chromatic runs maybe in the style of Joey Tafolla or John Petrucci
at the end some scary strech licks.
Maybe some Michael Angelo influence there..

(I could do this the whole day but it would be difficult to pay my flat…)

At the end a cool rock riff from
Def Leppard.
Just to relax and have a nice ending..
(Phil Collen plays a really nice Jackson
signature guitar …

madness.There are a lot of fast runs but also some more tasteful moments.HaHa
Everything is improvised and created on the spot.That’s the way i want to play.

1.”Legatostyle over an Dorian progression”
very less picking but tons of slides
2. Metal guitar style:
More picking and agressive playing

3. freestyle melodic jam in the Lydian
mode.Here there is a mix of fast picking,legato and sweeping.
Total freestyle playing: as always i don’t know what will happen…
4.Here is a simple melody after all the fast playing…
5. Neoclassical fast picking style
This is so much fun….
6.At the end some melodic jamming in the style of Richie Sambora.

In know there are a lot of notes but that’s the way i like it.
