learn to play electric guitar?
i have always love music like jimi hendrix, and zeppelin, so i started thinking about learning how to play the electric guitar how hard is it?
Hi Mick, Playing guitar is not that hard at all. All you need is lots of passion and dedication to practice everyday. Having good guitar lessons to follow is also a great help of course! If you’re into Hendrix and Led Zep then you probably want to Learn Lead Guitar (which you can do here http://www.leadguitarzero2hero.com ) however I would suggest you start to Learn Acoustic Guitar first. If you want to learn you have to be patient, it will take a LOT of practice to learn a Hendrix song.
If you start by playing simple songs, just to get the feel of the guitar, and then you practice for like an hour each day on songs that get progressively harder, then its not very hard at all. Just be patient and don’t be too ambitious and you’ll find its not that hard.

Don’t think about how difficult it is…just go and do it. If you really want to do something it becomes easier than doing something just because you think it’s going to be easy. Like anything else in life, learning the guitar is easier for some than it is for others…a lot depends on how you apply yourself to the task. Good luck with it.
