i think a lot of … i think a lot of you guys are kinda being es about it. They were joking around about the whole “maybe we should just quit” or the “kirk, i think your job’s in jeopardy”.
Rob knows his role. He’s the bassist, period. Yes, he’s good with guitar, but he uses bass technique for it, not correct finger picking, so he’s basically playing bass with a guitar.
As for Jason. Yes, he was a skilled player. He had some good tunes, but nowhere NEAR the technical skill to fill Cliff’s shoes. Rob does.

the guitar classical guitar was first play in the mother land
the moors introduced a 4 string looking guitar
then the spaniards made it sound better and gave it 6 string
it took place in Andalucia,Spain
Yeah, they stole … Yeah, they stole his bass solo and added some bad guitar parts around it to create My Friend of Misery, that was his contribution to the black album. From 1986 - 2001 (16 years with the band) he had a grand total of 3 song writing credits on 4 whole albums of material. Real generous those Metallicats. But don’t give me that crap about him being a bad writer or bass player, he wrote most of the best stuff on Flotsam and Jetsam’s first two albums.
i can agree about … i can agree about Cliff and Rob but no way in that ill EVER think of Jason in a negative way. i mean cmon! for crying out loud he helped creating the Black Album. ive got nothing more to say…peace out
