what tips can i get about playing the guitar?
im a starter at guitars, and i have no idea how to play one. i bought an acoustic guitar, but i cant get any guitar lessons. i dont know how to tune a guitar, how to play on the strings and stuff. can anyone help me and gimme some instuctions on how to play and tune a guitar?
I've only been playing for four months now but you should get lessons. It'll make things a lot easier. And just to let you know acoustic guitar is known to be harder to start on than electric.

One piece of advice:
When you are sitting in front of the TV or Computer, always have a guitar on your lap. Play, mess around, whatever. Practice is practice. And even if your not playing anything in particular, it's still beneficial.

well when you learn always paractice even if your fingers treally hurt don't stop trying to learn becase the more you play the more you fingers will get used to it.and when tuning you should go to a guitar store and ask them to tune it for you, buy a tuer, or ask them to teah you how to tune it b hand.you can also use a piano.

you can find instrutional video's on the internet
youtube.com probley has them
you can find the notes you need to tune your guitar too on the internet too
but…
go to a local guitar shop and get them to tune it
they do it for free when i get strings put on my guitar
and i think the best way to start is to learn something simple and fun
and just play it well and don't be sketchy
just open up on your guitar
and drop your idea that you're not good at it
just be open and let it come to you
