New Fender guitars …
New Fender guitars usually have 22 frets. “Vintage” ones - rather 21.
I’m a bit surprised by Smith playing *Squier* Telecaster. “Your fingers make you tone”, indeed.

Most (if not all) …
Most (if not all) Fender Strats are just 21…but Ive seen him playing Gibsons, Jacksons, Ibanez etc…meaning he plays in between 21 and 24 probably.
