if you bought a … if you bought a used guitar you can sell it for little or no loss as long as you took care of it.
and you should know enough about yourself to realistically know if it is something that you will be able to stick with. a lot of people know deep down they wont, and if you play for any reason other than yourself (ie popularity, to be in a band with friends, because its something you saw and thought would be cool but didnt really think it through properly) you probably will fail.
but what if you buy … but what if you buy a good guitar, and they decide they don’t wanna play anymore? then you just spent $300 you coulda used to buy something else with.
