cool cool!!!..I’m … cool cool!!!..I’m just learning how to play so I bought one at a very cheap price, and you said that stoneBrigde is the best right, why?
do these guys ( … do these guys (mckee ross dufor) write their stuff on a staff before they play this or what. i dont even understand how they can come up with so many notes flowing so well
Toxicfungi is right … Toxicfungi is right, there are natural harmonics on the 19th and even one more after that, 22 i think, but they’re exactly the same as the 5th and 7th so theres not really a point to go up that high on an acoustic.
Nice going! Would … Nice going! Would you please also check my version… It’s a tough song to play, but I really want to know is what you think of my version… Thanx! I will give you 5 stars… I hope you can give me that to haha!
actually, if you … actually, if you have a guitar loud enough or an electric guitar set to the bridge [ickup, youll hear natural harmonics all over the place. Its just a lot easier to hear them at the 5th 7th 12th, or even the 19th. Try it, you’ll be amazed!
Those are most … Those are most definitely natural harmonics..
If you put a capo on your guitar the harmonic moves up however many frets you put the capo on. Or if you hold a fret there will be a corresponding harmonic on the other side of the 12th fret.
You are correct, … You are correct, pinch harmonics are different but I stated the word “pinch” in my explanation because I thought that would better explain the right hand pinching motion needed for the technique. I guess I should have been more clear in my statement.
Couple things. The … Couple things. The harmonics he is hitting are pinch harmonics. You pluck the string with your thumb while barely touching the string over the fret with your index finger. Most harmonics are played on the 12th fret from the note you are playing with your left hand although you can do harmonics at the 5th fret, 7th, etc. He is using a capo on the 3rd fret which means that the harmonics at :30 are played on the 15th fret.
